xDay Munich

Concept, experience design, overall production and hosting · Munich, 2024

xDay Munich brought together around 300 people to explore real-world applications of blockchain. If we were going to spend the day talking about adoption, we could start by using the technology ourselves.

We worked with XOXNO on digital tickets and with Itheum on time capsules of conference highlights and behind-the-scenes material. The founder’s leather jacket became the star of an animated series and the prize in a game set in a digital version of Munich. With Tagrity, we connected the jacket and selected merchandise to digital certificates of authenticity.

I led the concept and overall production, bringing together partners and creative contributors while overseeing the speaker program, rehearsals, vendors, dinner and broadcast. I also hosted the day.
